the Team

Good Samaritan Hospital is an essential access community healthcare organization whose mission is to provide safe, effective, and efficient medical and neuropsychiatric services in a caring manner for all members of our community.

Bertha is a native to the Bakersfield area.  Bertha first became intrigued with medicine during her 1st year at the California State University of Bakersfield where she decided to study Nursing.  After graduating from CSUB, she went on to work in the Emergency Department at Delano Community Hospital for several years and decided to further her education and become a Nurse Practitioner.  Upon completing the Masters in Science of Nursing Program at CSUB, Bertha joined Premier Medical Group in hopes of continuing her dream of caring for others and educating patients of preventative medicine.  She hopes to continue to challenge herself while closing the provider-patient gap ratio and serve as a medical affiliate to the Bakersfield community.  Bertha is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. On her free time, Bertha enjoys spending time with her family, reading and trying different foods.
